1. Service description
Curb Genie provides a non-contact residential garbage can curb-roll service. On your scheduled pickup days, a Garbage Tech rolls your garbage and/or yard waste cans from their stored location to the curb (“roll-out”) and returns them after collection (“roll-back”).
2. Subscription & billing
Curb Genie is a subscription billed at $20.00 per month, and it auto-renews each month until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current period.
3. Non-contact policy
Garbage Techs will not ring doorbells or approach occupants. Service is performed entirely at your can storage and curb areas. This protects the privacy and safety of both neighbors and Techs.
4. Pet policy
For the safety of our Techs, service will not be completed if pets are present in the service area. If you have pets, we email you the evening before each scheduled visit so you can secure them indoors. No refund is issued for visits skipped due to uncontained pets.
5. Photo authorization
By subscribing, you authorize Curb Genie to take and store photographs of the exterior of your property — limited to the garbage can staging and curb areas — for the sole purpose of service verification. You may also upload your own “placement photos” as instructions to your Tech.
6. Tips
Tips to Garbage Techs are voluntary and non-refundable. Tips are routed to the Tech who completed your most recent job.
7. Referrals & points
Referral points are a loyalty reward, hold no cash value, and may only be redeemed for service discounts as described in the app. Points never expire. Curb Genie may adjust the referral program at any time.
8. California residents — CCPA
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of that information, and opt out of its sale. Curb Genie does not sell personal information. See our Privacy Policy for how to exercise these rights.
9. Limitation of liability
Curb Genie provides a convenience service and is not liable for missed municipal pickups, damage caused by third parties, or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the affected billing period.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
